ASA Championship list & meet #4 recap & shoutouts

ASA Championships are a week away! The coaches have to submit their final entries, but we want to make sure we’re not missing anyone. If you are swimming in the ASA Championship meet, please check to make sure your swimmer’s name is on the list attached to this message. If there are any mistakes with the list, please call or text Coach Cat 404-931-2429 or Julie Linsley 706-206-3106 by 8pm TODAY (Wednesday). After this time, we cannot make any changes.

Great job last night by all our swimmers…and volunteers! Thank you to everyone who helped out. We managed the heat and had a great showing by all our swimmers! The final score of the meet was Twin Lakes 429, Avondale 272. Way to go Thunderbolts! Ribbons are in your family’s ribbon file under the swim team bulletin board by the concession stand. The deadline for declarations is Friday by 8pm, but it makes it so much easier on us if you declare as soon as you know your schedule. More info will be sent about the Briarmoor Manor meet (which is also SENIOR NIGHT) on Sunday, but we still need some key volunteers, including:

  • 2nd shift Bullpen Coordinator
  • Several bullpen parents in various age groups are needed
  • 2nd shift Clerk of Course
  • 2nd shift Concessions (2 needed)
  • Officials Assistant (1st and 2nd shift)
  • Parking
  • 2nd shift Timer
