Great job from all our Thunderbolts swimmers Tuesday night at our first meet! It was so great to have a fantastic kick off to the summer swim season! Thank you to ALL our volunteers. It takes a village, especially in tight quarters.

The final score of the meet was Twin Lakes 285, Lake Claire 418. We saw some great swimming, spirit, and sportsmanship. Much anticipated ribbons will be in your family’s ribbon file under the swim team bulletin board by the concession stand by tomorrow afternoon.

After Wednesday's practice you can get your swim team participation ice cream at the snack bar. Let the attendant know your name and that you are picking up your swim team ice cream. You must have swum all your events last night and you have until Monday evening to pick it up so no rush. We ask that you be patient as this is the first time the snack bar attendants are handling the swim team ice cream. NOTE:  we do have a dairy free/gluten free option so if your child needs that, please make sure they request it.  

***Bullpen of the Meet ***

We had a lot of excellent bullpens last night, but we did have one that stood out. Kids stayed in their bullpen, made it their events, swam up and multiple times in relays to help out their team, and the bullpen parents were on it. This week’s Bullpen of the Meet goes to our 11-12 girls (Daphne Benning, Scarlet Bland, Olive Freas, Warren Hawkins, Megan Jordan, Olivia Kavtaradze, Frances Kennedy, Anna Lewis, Maddie Linsley, Juliette Raymond, Aria Rogers, Celia Thames, and Vivi Walker). Congratulations girls! We will get you your prize this week!

Please let us know as soon as possible so coaches can start planning lineups. Go ahead and sign up for a job too!

We know things come up, injuries and illness happen, but please remember to declare and undeclare as soon as possible. Each week’s lineup takes our coaches about 8 hours to complete. We ask that you be respectful of our coaches’ time.
