Thunderbolt Parents,

Happy Meet Day! I know meet days are busy, but I have 3 time sensitive action items for you in this email:

1. Today’s preliminary heat sheet is attached to this email and also linked on the schedule in SwimTopia. Print out a copy for yourself as we will have limited copies at the meet for volunteers only. Use your heat sheet to mark your swimmer before their 4:15-4:30 arrival! An example is linked here.  E is Event, H is Heat, L is lane, and S is stroke.  If it is the Medley Relay here is the schedule of strokes: Back, Breast, Butterfly, Free.
2. Every year at our end of season banquet, we recognize swimmers who have swam/coached for the Thunderbolts for 5, 10 & 15 years. We like to send this email out for parents to double check to make sure we haven’t left anyone out before we send the towel order off. Congratulations to the following swimmers for earning their towel this year. Please let us know if we have any errors (including spelling) in our list.

3. We need to know your declarations for ASA Championship Meet by Friday. The meet is Wednesday, June 29th from 9:30 am -1:00pm at Georgia Tech Aquatics Center. Coaches want to know which 2 strokes you’d prefer to swim at this meet (you can enter it in the comments when you mark your availability). I’ve linked last year’s results from this meet here if you want to refer to those. As you're considering if your swimmer will participate in this meet, be reminded that there is a $35 charge per swimmer. The email sent last week (linked here) gives more details, if needed.
